Flood Appeal

Home » Flood Appeal

At least 5 million people have been affected by the floods in Bangladesh and the situation is deteriorating on a daily basis. nearly 300,000 people are taking shelter in emergency. We have never seen such a terrible flood in Bangladesh in the 100 years. The whole district is inundated. There is no place left for people to take refuge, a shelter is now more important than aid.

Thousands of people have been forced from their homes due to dangerously high river levels, which are expected to continue rising in the coming days. Many families are now living under the open sky, facing shortages of clean water, food, and medicine. We are distributing food in the most severely affected areas of Bangladesh.

Many houses have been destroyed or damaged, leaving the affected populations in urgent need of food, water, and emergency shelter.
