QURAN COMPETITION 2024
MHUK is organising an annual Qur’an competition for children on Saturday 21st September 2024 at LMC Banqueting Hall. All boys and girls aged between 6 to 13 years are welcome to enter this competition!
Competition day rewards:
• Prizes will be awarded to the top three contestants in the final Qur’an competition. Also, we will award trophies or medals to all participants on the day.
• First prize iPad, Second prize Kindle, and Third prize Tablet + Appreciation Certificate + Trophy/Medal
• Dinner will be provided free.
Judgement Criteria:
The participants of the Holy Qur’an Competition in the memorization and recitation sections will be judged by the following order of criteria:
1. Tajweed
2. Waqf and Ibtida
3. Voice
4. Melody
General Information:
o Please include registration fee, per child £10, pay by cash or bank transfer (details below)
o Registration Form must be submitted by 18/09/2024
o Seating and entrance completely segregated for men and women.
o By registering for this competition, parents or guardians agree to come with children to the event on the day.

Quran Competition 2024 Rules, Terms and Conditions :
• This competition will be held Insha’Allah on Saturday 21st September 2024 at 3:30pm in LMC Banqueting Hall, 1st Floor, Whitechapel, London, E1 1JQ
• Seating and entrance completely segregated for men and women.
• Registration must be completed by September 18th, 2024
• Registration forms can be sent by hand, email or WhatsApp

• Winners Insha’Allah will be announced during the day in the main Hall session on Saturday evening the same day.
• Contestants are allowed to compete in one category age from 6 to 13 and Quran Surah between 90 to 109
• Contestants will be tested as follows: Memorization, Tajweed, Confidence and melody in the recitation. Tajweed Percentage will be decided by the judges based on performance.
• There will be 3 winners overall, and every child who participates will be rewarded for their performance.
• Participants have No right to object, reject, or decline the judges’ ruling; the judges’ ruling will be final, but if participants have any concerns they should address it with the organiser.
• Parents’ / Guardians’ Commitments
By attending this competition, parents or guardians agree to come with them to the event on the day.
o Give consent to their children to join the competition.
o Bring their children to the competition centre.
o Supervise their children while they are attending the competition.
• Please make sure that your child is not stressed before, during, or after the competition. The aim of this competition is to encourage your children to know more about Qur’an and how they can implement it in their lives. We should not make this opportunity a stressful event.
• Participants must agree to the terms and conditions above.
